Trademark Registration is generally a long and tedious process that requires a considerable amount of time and documents. On the other, trademark renewal is a continuation of an already registered trademark by making an application and paying the required fee. There is no requirement to go through the complete process again in trademark renewal as it takes place after the registration of a trademark. A trademark once registered has to be renewed every 10 years.
