A USB token is a password-protected device in a physical form wherein a personal identity is established. It enhances digital security as it proves the identity of the user in electronic form. The USB token has unique in-built software that enables users to identify and open digital signatures. The terms ‘USB token’,’e-token’, and ‘dongle’ can be used interchangeably.
