Yes, a PAN card is mandatory for Import Export Code (IEC) registration. In case of individuals or proprietorship firm, the proprietor shall use his/her PAN for registration and for all other types of enterprises PAN of the business entity as well as of PAN of Indian Directors/Authorised person shall be required.
